Cucumber Raita

Serves - 2

Ingredients:
Ø  Cucumber — 2 Medium
Ø  Curd — 1 Cup
Ø  Roasted Cumin Powder — to taste
Ø  Pepper powder — to taste
Ø  Salt to taste

Method:
1.    Peel the Cucumber. Chop it finely.
2.    Whisk curd with salt. Add finely chopped cucumber to it.
3.    Add roasted cumin powder and pepper powder to it. Garnish with coriander leaves.

ü  Another good low calorie salad option.
ü  Cucumber is one of the very low calories vegetable. It provides just 12 calories per 100 g. It is good source of antioxidants. Cucumbers have mild diuretic property probably due to their high water and potassium content. Hence helps in managing blood pressure.
