Ingredients:
Ø Tomatoes
— 100g
Ø Curd
/ Plain yogurt (well beaten) — 100g
Ø Sugar
– 1 tsp
Ø Oil
– 1 tsp
Ø Fenugreek
seeds (Methi) – A Pinch
Ø Curry
leaves — Few
Ø Mustard
seeds — ½ tsp
Ø Red
Chillies- 1
Ø Salt
– to taste
Ø Coriander
leaves to garnish
Method:
1. Blanch
Tomatoes by keeping the in boiling water for 3 -4 min. Peel them.
2. Mash
tomatoes with a spoon to form a smooth consistency.
3. Add
curd to the pulp, add salt and curry leaves.
4. Heat
oil in a small pan. Add red chillies, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds. Let it
sputter.
5. Pour
it over curd mixture, adjust seasoning, serve garnished with coriander leaves.
